o Even pages - inserts new objects on every odd page of the active
document.
o First page - inserts new objects on the first page of the active document.
o Last page - inserts new objects on the last page of the active document.
o Page range - inserts new objects on the specified pages of the active
document.
5. Click OK to create the objects.
Note: The content of a page can be made up of multiple objects. When adding a page to a layer
you can group theses objects together. This means all the objects from a page will become a
single layer object. The ‘Group objects in page layer’ preference will group the objects of a page
into one layer object.
9.3.4. Edit Layers
To edit a layer:
1. Open the Manage Layers window.
2. Select an existing layer and click Edit.
3. Modify the layer properties i.e. rename the layer.
4. Click OK to save the changes.
9.3.5. Delete Layers
To delete a layer:
1. Open the Manage Layers window.
2. Select at least one existing layers.
3. Click Delete and OK to proceed.
Note: You can select multiple layers by holding down “Shift” and clicking on the layer.
9.3.6. Merge Layers
To merge a layer:
1. Open the Manage Layers window.
2. Select two or more existing layers.
3. Click Delete and OK to proceed.
