SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURERS

EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eye with water for at least 15 minutes while lifting the upper and

lower lids. Get immediate medical attention.

SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water until no traces of the chemical remains.

Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse. Get medical attention if irritation or

symptoms of exposure develop.

INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. If

breathing is difficult have qualified personnel administer oxygen. Get medical attention.

Never give anything by mouth to a person who is unconscious or convulsing. Get immediate medical attention. If the TLV is exceeded a NIOSH approved particulate respirator may be used. For higher concentrations, a NIOSH approved supplied air respirator (with escape bottle if required) or self-contained breathing apparatus may be required. Selection of respiratory protection depends on the contaminant type, form and concentration. Select in accordance with OSHA 1910.
