Calibrating Your Device
Only applicable if mounting to inside or outside of any headgear apparatus. Before you can use
the device, you will need to calibrate your GFT sensor after mounting it in the recommended
locations of your headgear. Plug the mounted GFT into the computer with the USB cable. The
GFT will automatically awake. Position the helmet flat on the table with the front of the mask
facing towards you. With the GFT client running, right click the GFT icon in the task bar menu at
the bottom of computer screen. When ready, select “Calibrate Device.” Wait until the
confirmation notice appears before unplugging your device.
IMPORTANT: After calibrating and setting up your device you need to disconnect and
reconnect your GFT in order to have the changes take effect.
