GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings a nd instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
inj ury. Save all warnings and instructions for f uture reference.
The term “power tool” in the warnings refe rs to your battery-
operated (cordless) power tool.
1. WORK AREA SAFET Y
a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas
invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atm ospheres,
such as in the presen ce of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Power tools create sparks , which may ignite th e dust
or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a
power tool. Distrac tions can cause you to lose control .
2. ELECTR ICAL SA FETY
a) Power tool plugs must match the ou tlet . Never modify the
plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grou nded) power tools. M odif ying pl ug and failure to use
prope r outlet increa ses risk of electrical shock .
b) Avoid body contact with ear thed or grou nded surfaces
such as pipes, radiators, rang es and refrigerators. There is
an increased risk of electric shock if yo ur body is earthed or
grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water
entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Keep cord intact. Do not abuse the cord. N ever use t he
cord fo r carr ying, pulling or un plug ging the power tool.
Keep cor d away from heat, oil, sharp edges or m oving
parts. Damaged or e ntangled cords incre ase the risk of
electric shock.
e) When operating a p ower tool outdoors , use an ex tension
cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for
outdoor use reduces th e risk of electric shock.
f) If operat ing a power tool in a damp location is unavoida ble,
use a residual current device (RCD) protected sup ply. Use
of an RCD reduce s the risk of electric sho ck.
3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Stay alert , watch what you are doing and use common
sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power
tool while you are tired or under the influe nce of drugs,
alcoh ol or medication. A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye and
ear protect ion. P rotective equipment such as dust masks,
non-skid safety shoes, hard hats, or hearing protection used
for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Preve nt unintentiona l star ting . Ensure the switch is in the
off-position b efore connecting to the power source and/
or battery pack, picking up or ca rrying the tool. Carrying
power tools with your finge r on the switch or energizin g
power tools that have the switch on invites accide nts.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turnin g the
power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating
part of the power tool may result in pe rsonal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at
all times. This enables better control of the power tool in
unexpected situations.
f) Dress pro perly. Do not wear loose clothi ng or jewelry.
Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving
part s. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
g) If devices are p rovided for th e connection of dust
extraction and collection facilities, en sure these are
connected a nd properly u sed. U se of these devices can
reduce dust-related hazards.

Siempre suponga que la herramienta contiene
