Functional
Description &
Operation
The repeater works on the principle of receiving the handset signal through a
subscriber (indoor) antenna, amplifying or ‘boosting’ its signal level, and then
passing it on to the donor antenna located outside the building. Signals from
the cellular tower (downlink) are also amplified and passed to the subscriber
antenna.
