Inspecting and Unpacking the Telephony

Modem

Use this procedure to ensure the TelephonyModem package contains all the

required components, and that the unit is not damaged.

Packag e Contents

The TM608 package contains the following items:

1TelephonyModem

2Power cable

3Three bar-coded MACaddress labels

4Wall-mounting brackets and screws

5End-User License Agreement (EULA)

6Battery (optional)

Note:Ifany items are missing, call your ARRIS sales representative for

replacements. If the contents appear to be damaged, ﬁle a claim with the

shipping company.

Action

Followthese steps to inspect and unpack the TelephonyModem.

1Before opening the box, visually inspect the package for visible dam-

age.

Note:Ifthe package shows visible signs of damage, contact the ship-

ping companyfor instructions. Do not open a damaged package

before consulting the shipping company.

2Ifthe package is undamaged, open the box at the top.

3Lift the TelephonyModem bag out of the package.

4Ifall the items are present and undamaged, afﬁx the MACaddress

stickers where theycan be seen after installation.
