Key Length – Sets the encryption key length for WEP encryption, either 64 bits (5 ASCII
characters or 10 hexadecimal digits) or 128 bits (13 ASCII characters or 26 hexadecimal digits).
Key – Enter the encryption key. The key can be either ASCII (text) or Hex (hexadecimal). An
ASCII text key must be 5 characters long (for 64-bit encryption) or 13 characters long (for 128-bit
encryption). Valid characters are numbers “0” through “9” and letters “a” through “z”. A
hexadecimal key must be 10 characters long (for 64-bit encryption) or 26 characters long (for
128-bit encryption). Valid characters are numbers “0” through “9” and letters “a” through “f”.
