Troubleshooting
Problem
Symptom
Remedy
Software update
failed
During the update, the
status LED ceases to
blink (is solid green), or
it blinks with a constant
duty cycle and the unit
does not re-start by
itself.
Restart the UMC-4 manually
by pressing the POWER
button for 6 seconds or
more, until the LED goes off;
wait 3 seconds and restart
the unit. If it still doesn’t
start, contact ARRI Service.
UMC-4 does not
power up
The UMC-4 does not
boot up after pressing
the POWER button.
The internal lithium battery
might be empty. Press the
power button for 3-5
seconds to power up the
UMC-4. Have the internal
battery replaced by ARRI
Service.
