6. The UMC-4 will reboot after the update is completed. Depending
on the update package content, additional modules might need to
be updated after reboot; this is done automatically and is clearly
indicated on the screen of the device. The second phase of the
update procedure may take several minutes.
Do not switch power off and do not remove the SD card during
the update as this may damage the UMC-4! In case of problems,
see the troubleshooting section.
Save Log to SD Card Menu
Select the Save Log to SD Card menu if you want to save the log file to the
SD card. This may be required when you contact the ARRI support staff.
The log file will be saved immediately and can be found in the
/ARRI/UMC4/logs directory.
Format SD Card
Select Format SD Card to format the SD card and add the ARRI specific
directory structure:
/ARRI/UMC4 /Firmware
/Logs
/Metadata
/Settings
Note: All the data on the SD card will be lost after formatting the card!
System Info Menu
Select the System Info menu to identify the current firmware version, the
serial number, and the power source’s current voltage.
