• SYSTEM: Shows the UMC-4 firmware version, the device’s serial
number and the voltage level of the power supply
• SD CARD: Shows the SD card capacity and the number of
recorded metadata clips
Press the CLEAR soft button to reset warning and error messages.
HOME>FOCUS
The FOCUS soft button area displays the motor type, the side the motor is
currently set on, and the motor status. The soft button is a shortcut to
Menu>Motors>Focus, where you can set the motor side and motor torque.
HOME>IRIS
The IRIS soft button area displays the motor type, the side the motor is
currently set on, and the motor status. The soft button is a shortcut to
Menu>Motors>Iris, where you can set the motor side and motor torque.
HOME>ZOOM
The ZOOM soft button area displays the motor type, the side the motor is
currently set on, and the motor status. The soft button is a shortcut to
Menu>Motors>Zoom, where you can set the motor side and motor torque.
Motor Status
Motor status levels are:
• None: No motor connected
• Calibrate!: Motor needs to be calibrated
• Calibrating: Motor is currently calibrating
• Idle: Motor is not assigned to hand unit
• Ready: Motor is ready to use
Info Area
The info area in the center of the Home screen shows camera index
(if set), timecode (if active), the camera recording status and SD card
status.
