Description
Status LED
Indicates controller status:
Blue = radio connection is established, motors are
calibrated, no warnings
Green = wired connection is established, motors are
calibrated, no warnings
Yellow = motors are calibrated, but no controlling
device connected
Yellow flashing = motors are currently calibrating
Red = motors are not calibrated, not ready to use for
lens control
LCS Connector
Connects to hand units via ARRI LCS cable, for
wired operation
CAM Connector
Multi-pin connector, offering a variety of protocols,
providing REC and tally control for most film and
digital cameras
FOCUS Motor
Connector
Connects to ARRI Controlled Lens Motor
RS IN Connector
Connects to power source (9.5-34 V), triggers REC
and receives tally status via camera RS interface
IRIS Motor
Connector
Connects to ARRI Controlled Lens Motor
TC Connector
LTC timecode input and output
ZOOM Motor
Connector
Connects to ARRI Controlled Lens Motor
ETHERNET
Connector
Connects to Ethernet and provides access to the
UMC-4 web interface
