4.4 RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
For service, repair, or replacement, send an email to service@armasight.com.
To assist the Service Representative (SR) with determining if the item is repairable, please provide the
following information:
1. Serial Number of the defective item (engraved on the underside of the Cipher’ body).
2. Thorough description of the malfunction, defect or damage.
3. An explanation of how the malfunction, defect or damage occurred, if known.
If the SR determines that the item is under warranty or should be returned for repair, a Return Material
Authorization number (RMA#) will be provided.
When returning the Cipher for service or repair, the following procedures should be followed to pre-
vent any additional damage:
1. Make sure the Cipher is free of all contaminants such as dirt or any other foreign material.
2. Remove the batteries.
3. Place the cap over the objective lens.
4. Place the Cipher and accessories in the carrying case.
Place the Cipher and a copy of the test report or detailed description of the failure in a suitable packing/
shipping container. Mark the package with the RMA#. Ship using a fast, traceable, and prepaid method
