Video Settings
Change the video quality
You can set the video resolution. Higher video quality uses more bandwidth. Using a lower
resolution setting reduces the WiFi bandwidth that is required.
1. Open the Arlo app.
2. Tap Settings > My Devices.
3. Tap the camera.
4. Tap Video Settings.
5. Adjust the video settings:
• Night Vision. Tap or click to toggle night vision on and o.
When night vision is on, the camera automatically turns on infrared (IR) LEDs to record
in low-light conditions. We recommend that you leave night vision turned on unless
the camera is facing reective surfaces, such as windows.
• Rotate Image 180°. Tap or click to ip the video stream of your camera 180°.
• Video Quality. Tap or click to change the camera’s resolution to 1080p, 720p, or 480p.
Higher video quality uses more of your internet bandwidth. For the best experience
with your Essential Indoor Camera, we recommend a minimum upload speed of 2
Mbps per camera.
