3.6.4 Manual test
This option is used to send a test call manually to one of the programmed Central Station telephone
numbers station. Scroll down to the desired number and press . to start the transmission. Call progress
messages are displayed on the keypad during the test. Voice always sends message 5 during a manual-
test call.
3.7 Miscellaneous
The TD8412 has one open collector which function as a Call central station output type.
3.7.1 Open collector 1 function

3.7.2 Open collector 2 function

Output type Function
[FTC / line fault ] active in the event of fail to communicatie / line fault
[Audio Listen-in ] active during listen-in session
[Call Central Station ] active upon alarm restore (duration 20 sec).

3.7.3 Latch output
This option determines whether the output pulses or latches.
• Pulse: The output is activated for 4 seconds if triggered by the relevant event.
• Latch: FTC Line monitoring: the output monitors the line status.
F.T.C.: the output activates when no connection is possible and is restored
at the next successful connection.
ALI The output activates at the start of an Audio-listen-in session and restores
at the end of the session.
3.7.4 Dialler engineer code
If desired a new engineer code can be programmed to provide access to the engineer programming
functions.
If the engineer code is lost, it is only possible to return to the standard settings in
the factory.
3.7.5 Dialler default
This menu option returns the dialler to the default settings.
All values and options which have been altered return to the default settings. See default
settings in appendix B.
