When the machine is switched off and
"Decalcification" appears on the display, it
is indispensable to decalcify your machine
with specifics products suitable for your
machine.
Attention – Very important!
Do not use lemon-based products for
decalcification. These products con-
tain citric acid which, on contact with
calcium at high temperatures, has a
chemical reaction. Dicalcium citrate
is formed that may lead to total block-
ing of the hydraulic circuits.
For security reasons and safeguard
of the environment, we recommend
to decalcify the machine (each 2
months) using only vinegar. Vinegar
is a good product for decalcifying but
is less powerful than the common
chemical products for decalcification,
therefore it is necessary to decalcify
more frequently your machine.
Therefore, if the machine indicates to
do the decalcification you need to do it
with chemical and specific product avail-
able on the market following the in-
structions attached with the product.
Proceed as follow:
• Switch on the machine and wait until the
writing "water" and "steam" on the dis-
play stop to flash.
Preferably, empty the water tank every day
and fill it, if possible, just before use, with
cool, running, drinking water.
Wash the water tank by hand using a deli-
cate product.
Hot water/steam
distributor
Clean hot water/steam distributor with a
soft sponge, preferably using just hot wa-
ter. If there are any deposits, it is recom-
mended that you wash the parts in the dish-
washer. The steam nozzle can be un-
screwed for washing in the dishwasher.
When it is used for frothing milk, we rec-
ommend that the steam is allowed to es-
cape to get rid of any remaining milk or froth
present.

Cuando con la maquina apagada, aparece
en el display la leyenda "DESCALCIFICACIÓN"
es indispensable descalcificar Vuestra
maquina con productos específicos y que
sean apropiados para las maquinas de café.
Atención – ¡Muy importante!
No utilizar, para la descalcificación,
productos a base de limón. Estos
artículos contienen ácido cítrico el
cual, al entrar en contacto con el cal-
cio a altas temperaturas, forma una
reacción química produciéndose
citrato de calcio que puede obstruir
totalmente los circuitos hidráulicos.
Por razones de seguridad y de salvaguar-
dia del ambiente, aconsejamos de des-
calcificar la maquina (cada 2 meses) pri-
mero con vinagre de cocina. El vinagre tie-
ne un poder descalcificante pero es me-
nos eficaz que los productos comunes
químicos de descalcificación y, por lo tan-
to, es indispensable realizar una descalci-
ficación más frecuente. En el caso que sea
la maquina que indica la necesidad de efec-
tuar la descalcificación, la misma deberá
efectuarse con productos específicos que
se venden comúnmente en el mercado
respetándose las instrucciones que se
adjuntan con el producto.
Proceder como sigue:
• Encender la maquina y esperar que la
leyenda agua y vapor haya dejado de
parpadear.
Debe vaciarse todos los dias y volver a
llenarlo, y si es posible, llenarlo hasta el
borde cada vez que preparemos una
bebida. El agua tiene que ser potable y fria.
Lavar el depósito del agua a mano usando
un detergente delicado.

caliente o vapor
Limpiar el dispensador del agua caliente o
vapor con una esponja suave usando solo
agua preferiblemente caliente, si hay
incrustaciones se aconseja lavar los
componentes en el lavavajillas. La salida
del vapor puede desenroscarse para
poder lavarlo en el lavavajillas, y, es
aconsejable, cuando se usa para calentar
leche, dejar que salga un poco de vapor
para eliminar posibles residuos de leche
del interior.

Wanneer op de display het woord
"ONTKALKING" verschijnt en het apparaat uit-
geschakeld is, is het absoluut noodzakelijk uw
apparaat te ontkalken met specifieke producten
die gepast zijn voor koffiezetapparaten.
Opgelet – Heel belangrijk!
Voor de ontkalking geen producten ge-
bruiken op basis van citroen. Deze
producten bevatten citroenzuur, dat op
hoge temperatuur, in contact met calcium
een chemische reactie teweegbrengt. Op
die manier zou men calciumcitraat ver-
krijgen, wat de totale verstopping van
de hydraulische circuits zou kunnen ver-
oorzaken.
Voor veiligheidsredenen en bescher-
ming van de omgeving, raden wij toch
aan het apparaat eerst te ontkalken met
gewone azijn (om de twee maand). Azijn
heeft een ontkalkingsvermogen, maar
is minder doeltreffend dan de gewone
chemische ontkalkingsproducten en
bijgevolg is een regelmatige ontkalking
absoluut noodzakelijk. Wanneer het ap-
paraat ontkalking aangeeft, zal de
ontkalking daarom met specifieke
producten moeten worden verricht, die
gemakkelijk op de markt te vinden zijn,
en waarvan men de bijgeleverde richt-
lijnen in acht zal nemen.
Als volgt te werk gaan:
• Het apparaat aanzetten en wachten tot
de woorden water en stoom niet meer
knipperen.
Maak het waterreservoir dagelijks schoon en
hervul het reservoir telkens net voor elke be-
reiding met koud drinkbaar water.
Was het reservoir met de hand met een
delikaat product.

Reinig de knop voor warm water en stoom
altijd met warm water en een zachte spons.
De onderdelen worden best in de vaatwas-
machine gereinigd om zo eventuele aan-
geplakte resten te verwijderen. Het stoomt-
uitje kan losgemaakt worden om apart te kun-
nen reinigen in de vaatwasmachine. Als het
tuitje wordt gebruikt voor het schuimen van
melk moet eerst best alle stoom afgeblazen
worden om zo mogelijke melk- of schuim-
resten van vorige bereidingen te verwijderen.

Door regelmatig te reinigen zal de koffie-
machine langer meegaan.
Verwijder de filterhouder, het rooster en
het schuifje van de machine en reiniging
zowel de voorkant en de binnenkant met
een zachte spons en gebruik enkel delikate
detergenten en warm water.
Droog af met een zachte doek om schram-
men te vermijden.

Secar, finalmente, con un paño suave para

and long life of your espresso coffee machine.
Take out the filter holder, tray and basin
and clean both the front and the interior of
the machine with a soft sponge, using deli-
cate products and hot water, preferably.
Dry with a soft cloth to avoid scratching.
