4.13 Viewing PIP
The advanced PIP function allows you to watch two different screens at once, even if you don’t
have a VCR connected to your TV.
If you change the main screen channel into the one of different transponder, the PIP screen will be
disappeared automatically. You can see the PIP screen at radio mode, recording mode and
playback mode.
1. Press the “
” button to show the PIP screen and the PIP channel information bar on the
screen. Whenever you press the button, the PIP mode changes sequentially such as changing the
size of the PIP screen→the PIP mode Off→showing the PIP on the screen.
The PIP and information bar is always displayed when you watch a scrambled TV program or a
channel with no signal.
z The PIP screen shows only live video signal with no audio.
z The PIP screen is dependent on the main screen channel state. 1) The PIP screen provides
limited functions when you watch a scrambled TV program at TV2. 2) The PIP screen
doesn’t work for viewing the CAS channel at TV2.
z Press the “CH ▲▼” button to change the main screen channel.
2. Press the “
” button to swap between the PIP screen and the main screen. But this function
doesn’t work at playing the recorded file.
