Notes and Maintenance

Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly

Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required

To protect the product, wax after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to

add a protective layer over the ﬁnish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may

contain abrasives that could damage the ﬁnish.

Step 1 Beginning on the front passenger side, remove the factory torque bolts securing the doors onto the hinges with a T50 torx bit. Step 2 If the vehicle has non-powered mirrors, they can be removed and re-used on the ARIES tubular doors. To remove the mirrors, open the passenger door. Using a T40 torx bit, remove the bolts from the inside the door. Be sure to hold the mirror from the outside to prevent accidental dropping or scratching of the door paint. Place the mirror to the side.

Step 5 Install the new ARIES tubular door by sliding the door pins into the factory hinges. Secure the door with an 8mm flat washer and lock nut. Snug the hardware but do not tighten. Step 6 Reattach the safety strap. Before closing the door, attach the rubber bushing to the inside of the door as shown. The rubber bushing is attached with using the supplied Phillips head sheet metal screws. Step 7 Check the alignment of the locking door latch with the striker plate inside the door jam.

Step 9 To install the side mirrors, slide the mirrors two mounting tubes through the mounting locations on the tube doors. Next slide the 3" cylinder tubes over the mounting tubes on the mirror, and secure with a 1 3/4" OD flat washer and factory bolts. Step 10 Tighten with a T40 torx bit. Remember to do periodic inspection to make sure that all the hardware is secure and tight. To protect the product, we recommend applying a layer of nonabrasive wax.
