52- and 66-inch decks: Install the right baffle with one
.31-18 x 1.00 hex bolt (item 6), install the left baffle with
one .31-18 x 1.00 hex bolt (item 6) refer to Figure 7.
7. Check for blade clearance, and then securely
tighten the hardware.
8. Resume normal operating position.
FOR BEST PERFORMANCE
Cut grass when it is dry.
Keep mower blades sharp.
Keep mower deck properly leveled.
Adjust anti-scalp rollers to prevent scalping.
Do not set height of cut too low. For very tall grass, mow
twice.
Do not travel too fast.
Mow with the engine set at full throttle.
When mulching, only remove 1/3 of grass length per
cutting.
Vary cutting pattern with each mowing.
Do not allow grass or debris to collect inside of mower
deck. Clean after each use.
