Remove the entire back of
the camera by sliding the
lock
in the direction indi-
cated
by the arrow.
Place the
empty spool oppo-
sit!} the film-winding knob,
taking care that it '
is all the
way in .

There are two markings on
the lens mount: "I," mean-
ing instantaneous, for snap-
shot pictures;
"T," meaning
time, for time exposures
(use this only for inactive
subjects, indoors,
at night,
or in very duJ/light).
On the top of the lens mount
are three markings:
BRIGHT
(f : 16), CLOUDY ({:11),
COLOR (f:9.7). Slide
the movable pointer
opposite the one which
applies (see exposure
guide).

Place the roll of film in the
other compartment, with the
paper leader in the position
shown
above .
Unroll about 4 inches of
paper leader and insert the
end
in the slot of the empty
take-up spool.

The Lumar lens on the Minca 28 is universal focus which
means pictures will
be sharp regardless of their distance.
CAUTION:
Do not take close-ups at less than five feet.
With Black-and-White Film
Use lens setting "BRIGHT" for pictures in sunlight
Use lens setting " CLOUDY" for pictures in open
shade
or when the sky is slightly overcast (faint
shadows)
Use lens setting "COLOR" for pictures when the
day is dull and overcast (no shadows) .,
With Color Film
Use lens setting "COLOR" and take pictures ONLY
in bright sunlight. Subject must not be shaded.
Replace the back, making
sure the lock
is secure to
avoid accidental fogging
of
the film .
Wind the film until the figure
1 appears in the center of
the green window on the
back
of the camera.
