Calculation of the Loop Length
Using the R/C measurement results, the loop length can be calculated. Knowing the
specific capacitance / resistance of the cable the approximate length will be displayed.
The measurement result in capacitance corresponds to the distance to the open circuit,
whereas the resistance result corresponds to distance to the short.
