Practical Examples
 E1 / ISDN PRI HDB3 (Rx or Tx) on this wire pair (~1024KHz)
 No ADSL and POTS available  do not test anything
 Possibly DC line voltage when E1 repeaters are used
During the synchronization, a modem sends several pilot tones. On the ARGUS 42, every one or two
seconds, strongly varying frequencies are being shown. Upon sync, the frequency displayed is relatively
stable (variations of a couple of KHz).
 The greater the data rate, the greater the output power, and the
shorter the line, the bigger is the frequency of the ADSL signal
metered.
 This example shows an unbundled loop w/ ADSL 2+
