Profile Configuration – An Overview
To perform an ADSL or IP ping test, a profile needs to be configured
first. The profile configuration can be entered pressing MENU 
Configuration  Profiles  Profil 1. The submenus line and test
parameters as well as the name of the profile can be entered now. The
required parameters are described below.
Selecting the proper ADSL mode
Protocol used for Internet connection
Username and password of the PPP account
VPI/VCI pair & encapsulation of the connection
The destination and number of pings for the IP ping test can be
entered here.
Please note: depending on the configuration of the ARGUS 42, only some
of the test parameters might be available. When using multiple profiles,
please enter Use Profile in the according profiles and select yes.
