If no connection has been setup (by
pressing <Start> in the State display), a
connection will be setup automatically at
this point using the default profile (see
page 40).

Depending on the protocol and access:
The ARGUS will display the user name
saved in the profile for the PPP
connection. The user name can, however,
be changed.




If you change the user name, you must
enter the password again.



If the required Layer 3 protocol has already
been setup (e.g. when another test has
been run that required that protocol) the
user name and password queries will not
be displayed.


The ARGUS displays the IP address
stored in the profile.

If the user name is changed here, 
it will only be placed in temporary
storage; the profile itself is not
modified.
The password entered here is not
saved in the profile.
Select the IP address to use for
the ping; the default address is
marked with an .
