SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Read carefully these instructions before using the appliance.
Before operating the appliance check that the technical data declared on the plate conform to the
voltage of the electrical supply network.
Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface. Keep at least 60 cm distance from curtains,
furniture, walls and other surfaces that could be an obstacle to the air flow.
For a better circulation of the air, we suggest to keep the air puirfier at least at 50 cm from the floor.
Do not use it if the power cord is damaged or if the plug is loose, in order to avoid electric shock,
shirt circuits and fires.
Do not damage the cable by pulling the appliance by the cord, do not run it around sharp edges, do
not wind it, do not put on the cable heavy objects, do not put it near hot surfaces.
In order to remove the plug, pull by the plug and not by the cable. Before removing the plug, switch
off the appliance.
In order to move the appliance use the handle on the rear of the appliance.
Do not use extension cords.
Do not modify the appliance. If the appliance needs to be repaired or the cable needs to be
substituted, please contact an argo service centre.
Before cleaning the appliance or substituting the filters, switch it off and remove the plug.
Never touch the plug of the air purifier with wet hands.
The appliance is equipped with antidip protection, therefore it should be used only inside houses
and far away from rocks, wash basins or similar places where there could be presence of humidity.
Do not immerse it into water or other liquids. Do not run it near a heater.
Do not use it near flammable gases such as natural gas or propane.
Do not run the appliance without HEPA filter, otherwise some UV light could get out of it.
Keep the appliance far away from children and invalids in order to avoid accidents.
Do not clean the appliance with solvents or petroline. Do not clean UV lamps with water, use only
dry clothes.
Do not insert fingers and/or other objects into air openings.
During periods of long inactivity, unplug the appliance from the socket.
Batteries must be removed from the remote control before the appliance is scrapped and must be
thrown in proper bins for batteries.
