Remove the baery hatch, slide the
Li- Po into the front secon of the
fuselage and secure it to the baery
mounng plaorm using the hook
and loop tape supplied.

Remove the transmier baery
cover (RTF version only) and insert
four AA alkaline cells taking care to
observe the correct polarity.

Switch ON your transmier, ensure
the LED is lit solid red, then center
all the trim levers and move the
throle sck to the low posion
(RTF version only). PTF owners
should now pair their Hitec red
enabled transmier using the guide
at the back of this Quick Start Guide.

Connect the baery to the ESC, the servos will
become operaonal. Plug in the LEDs to the balance
connector of the ight baery. Stow the leads
within the fuselage and replace the baery hatch.
The servos are acve but the motor is not armed
at this point. In the unlikely event that the servos
do not operate, see the PAIRING instrucons at the
back of this guide.

With the control surfaces centered,
connect the elevator and rudder
clevises to the outer hole of each
control horn nong that you may
have to screw the clevis in or out
to ensure that the control surface
remains in the neutral posion.

If you need to adjust a clevis, grasp
the pushrod with a pair of needle-
nose pliers and screw the clevis in or
out as required.

Check that the control surfaces
operate in the correct direcon.
With the model in front of you,
facing away, move the rudder sck
to the right and check that the
rudder moves right in response. Le
rudder sck will move the rudder to
the le.

Pull the elevator sck back and
check that the elevator moves in an
upward direcon. Push the elevator
sck forward and check that the
elevator moves in a downward
direcon.

Place the wing into posion on top
of the fuselage and retain with at
least 4 rubber bands but no more
than 6 rubber bands. Install the
bands as shown in the photo to the
right.
Plug the two LED connectors into
the LED Y-connector. Make sure to
match the wire colors for correct
polarity.
