Binding/linkingistheprocessofprogrammingthereceivertorecognizetheGloballyUnique
Identifier(GUID)codeofasinglespecifictransmitter.Thesestepsoutlinethebinding/linking
processofthe6HPA6‐ChannelHPAirplaneTransmitter(AZS1208AMD2)andthecompatible
6‐ChannelParkFlyerReceiver(AZS1206):
Switchthetransmitteronandensurethatboththered(power)andgreen(RFoutput)
colorLEDindicatorsareglowing.
Movethecontrolsticks(andswitchesifusingchannels5and6)tothepositionsyou
prefertouseasthe‘failsafe’positionsforeachfunctionintheeventthereceiver
losessignalfromthetransmitter.WESTRONGLYRECOMMENDLOWERINGTHELEFT‐
HAND/THROTTLESTICKTOTHELOWESTPOSSIBLEPOSITIONwhilealso
centeringthe
rudder,elevatorandaileroncontrolsbeforeproceedingwiththebinding/linking
process.
ProvidepowertothereceiverthroughtheESCordirectlyusinga4.8–6.0Vbatteryor
DCpowersource.DONOTconnectthe3‐Cell/3S11.1VLiPoflightbatterytothe
receiverdirectlyasvoltagesabove6.0Vcandamagethereceiverpermanently.
Ifthereceiverisnotbound/linkedtothetransmittertheredLEDindicatorwillblink
slowly.Pressthebind/linkbuttononthereceiverandtheLEDindicatorwillbeginto
blinkrapidly.Thisindicatesthereceiverhasenteredbind/linkmode.
Afterapproximately10‐15secondstheLEDindicatorwillbegintoglowsolidred
indicatingthebinding/linkingprocessiscomplete.Youshouldnowhavefullcontrolof
thereceiver/ESC/servos.
Themajorairframecomponents(wing,fuselageandtail)oftheP‐51DMustang350are
moldedfromlightweightanddurableEPOfoam.Mostdamagecanberepairedusing
transparent‘packing’tape,epoxyand/orCyanoacrylate(CA)glue(NOTE:Standard‘non‐
odorless’CAcanbeusedsafelyontheEPOfoam).Werecommend
Medium/Gap‐FillingCAfor
mostrepairs,thoughThinorevenThickviscositycanalsobeusedforsomeothers.
