Afterconnectingtheelevatorandrudderpushrods/clevisesperthespecificationsnotedin
thisinstructionmanualthecontrolthrowsfortheelevator,rudderandaileronsshouldbe
similartothosenotedbelow.Werecommendusingtheseapproximatecontrolthrowsfor
yourfirstfewflightsandbeforemakinganychanges(then
youcanadjustthemaccordingto
yourpersonalpreference).
Also,ifusingatransmitterequippedwith‘DualRates’werecommendusingthesecontrol
throwsfor‘HighRate’andapproximately20‐40%lessthrowfor‘LowRate’(whichcanalsobe
adjustedaccordingtoyourpersonalpreference).
IMPORTANTNOTE:Measurecontrol
throwsatthe‘widest’pointoneachcontrolsurface.
Ailerons

NOTE:Insomecasestheaileronwilltravelslightlymoreupthandown(thisisOK).
Elevator
1/4”(~6.5mm)up/down
IMPORTANTNOTE:WeDONOTrecommendusingmoretravel/controlthrowforthe
elevatorthanwhatis
listedhereasdoingsocanresultinunexpectedstalling/snapping.
Rudder
5/8”(~16mm)left/right
Whenusingthefactory‐installedandrecommendedcomponents/equipmenttheCenterof
Gravity(CG)shouldbewithintherecommendedrange.However,beforemakingyourfirst
flightyoushouldcheckthe‘balance’ofthereadyto
flyairplane(includinganinstalledLiPo
flightbattery).Thebalancepoint/CGshouldbebetweenthetopandbottomofthe‘CG’
lettersmoldedintothebottomofthewing.
IfnecessaryadjustthepositionoftheLiPoflightbattery,ESCand/orreceiverasneededto
achieveabalancepoint/CGwithinthe
recommendedrange.
