orienting/aligningthewireleadsofthebatteryandESCsothey’re‘redtored’
and‘blacktoblack’you’llbeabletomaketheconnectionwithcorrectpolarity.
‘Reverse’polarityconnectionwillcausedamagetoand/ordestroytheESCand
battery(andmayalsoresultinfire!)!
WiththetransmitterpoweredonandthebatteryconnectedtotheESCyou
shouldhavefullcontroloftheaileron,elevatorandrudderservos/control
surfaces.YOUMUSTALSOEXERCISEEXTREMECAUTIONASTHE
MOTOR/PROPLLERWILLSPINANYTIMETHELEFT‐HAND/THROTTLESTICKIS
RAISEDABOVETHELOWESTPOSSIBLEPOSITION!
Positiontheairplanesoyouandallobjectsareclearofthepropeller.We
recommendpositioningtheairplanesothepropellerispointedawayfromyou
andyouareabletoholdontothefuselageand/orwingsecurely.
Withallobjectsclearofthepropeller,includingintheplaneofrotationandin
frontofit,holdontothemodelsecurelytotestoperationofthe
throttle/powersystem.HOLDTHEAIRPLANESECURELYthenslowlyraisethe
left‐hand/throttlestickuntilitreachesthehighestpossiblepositionandthe
powersystemisat‘fullpower’.Thenlowerthesticktothelowestpossible
positiontoturnthepowersystemoff.
AfterconfirmingtheESChasarmedandthepowersystemisperformingproperly
theP‐51DMustang350isreadytofly!However,pleasereviewthefollowing
sectionsof
themanualBEFOREproceedingwiththefirstflight.
