After ensuring optimal tracking you can install the
spinnercap/cone.Carefullypushthecap/coneoverthe
lockingtabsonthefrontofthespinnerbackplateuntil
it‘snaps’intoplace.Also,youcanremovethecap/cone
by squeezing the back edge of the back plate and
pulling it free. However,
in some cases it may be
necessary to use a thin flat blade screwdriver or other
suitable tool to ‘pop’ the cap/cone off of the locking
tabs.
IMPORTANTNOTE:Thefactory‐installed15‐AmpBrushlessMotorESC(AZS1410)DOESNOT
includeanarmingswitch/button.Also,thisESCautomaticallymeasuresthepositionofthe
left‐hand/throttlestickandusesthe‘current’positionofthestickasthe‘zero’/starting
pointforthrottlewhentheESCisfirstpoweredon.As
aresultyoumustALWAYSbesure
thetransmitteristurnedonandthattheleft‐hand/throttlestickisintheLOWESTPOSSIBLE
POSITIONbeforeconnectingabatterytotheESC.YOUMUSTALSOEXERCISEEXTREME
CAUTIONASTHEMOTOR/PROPELLERWILLNOWSPINANYTIMETHELEFT‐HAND/THROTTLE
STICKISRAISED
ABOVETHELOWESTPOSSIBLEPOSITION!
ThischecklistincludesthestepsyoumustfollowtoensuresafeandproperarmingoftheESC:
Before each flight you must ALWAYS
turnthe transmitteronandLOWERTHE
LEFT‐HAND/THROTTLE STICK TO THE
LOWEST POSSIBLE POSITION before
connecting the LiPo flight batteryto the
ESC. Never connect the battery to the
ESC before powering the transmitter on
first or lowering the left‐hand/throttle
stick to the
lowest possible position.
Also,aftereachflightyoushouldalways
disconnect the battery from the ESC
beforeturningthetransmitteroff.
