AntennaPosition/Orientation
TheRFoutputsignalstransmitbest/strongestfromtheshaftoftheantennaratherthan
fromthetip.Asaresultyoushouldneverpointthetipoftheantennadirectlyatthe
model.Also,thetransmitterantennacanberotatedupto180°andfoldedupto90°so
besuretoholdthetransmitterandposition theantennaasneededtoensurethebest
possiblesignaltransmission.
Control/ServoReversing
The6HPAtransmitterfeaturescontrol/servoreversingfunctionalityfortheaileron,
elevator,throttleandrudderchannels.Thecontrol/servodirectionsweresetcorrectly
atthefactory,however,incasethecontrols/servosareoperatinginthewrong
direction,oryouusetheelectronicsinothermodelslateron,simplychangethe
position
ofthe‘ServoReverse’switchforthecorrespondingchannel(s)asneeded.
Delta/ElevonMixing
Locatedtotherightofthe‘ServoReverse’switchesisaswitchthat
activates/deactivatestheoptional‐use‘Delta/Elevon’mixing.IMPORTANTNOTE:No
suchmixingisusedfortheP‐51DMustang350sopleasebesurethisswitchisinthe
OFF/lowerposition(failuretodosowillresult
inimpropercontrolandtheinabilityto
flytheP‐51DMustang350).However,ifusingthistransmitterwith‘flyingwing’,delta
orotherairplanesthat‘combine(mix)’theelevatorandaileron(oftenknownas
‘elevon’)controlsyoucanmovetheswitchtotheON/upperposition.
IMPORTANTNOTE:
YoumustALWAYSturnthetransmitteronfirstANDhavetheleft‐
hand/throttlestickinthelowestpossiblepositionBEFOREconnecting/installingtheLiPo
flightbattery.Andbeforeproceedingwiththefollowingstepspleasebesurethe
transmitterispoweredonandthethrottlestickisinthelowestpossibleposition.
AftertheLiPobatteryhasbeenfullycharged
it’s ready to be installed in the airplane. To
access the battery compartment on the
bottomoftheairplane,rotatethelatchuntil
it’s out of the way of the hatch cover then
removethecover.
