IMPORTANTNOTE:Iftheyarenotalreadyinstalledwestronglyrecommendinstalling
theincludedflexiblecleartubing‘cleviskeepers’toprovideaddedsecurityforthe
clevises.Typicallyyoucanslidethekeeperoverthecleviswhenit’snotconnectedto
thecontrolhorn.Then,afterconnectingtheclevistothecontrol
hornand‘snapping’
theclevistogetheryoucanslidethekeeperintoapositionthatdoesnotallowitto
‘bind’againstthecontrolhornduringmovementofthesurface.

Ifyouplantotakeoffandlandonhardsurfacesorshortgrassthemainlandinggearshould
beinstalled.Toinstallthelandinggearcarefullyslidethebentwireendintotheslotinthe
mainlandinggear
mount.Becarefultonotbreakthemountfreefromthewing,andinsome
casesitmaybehelpfultouseaflatbladescrewdriveroranothersuitableobjecttohelp
press/slidethewireintotheslot.Also,thelandinggearlegcoversshouldbeorientedtoward
thetipof
thewingoneachsidewhenyouhavetheleftandrightlandinggearassemblies
installedcorrectly.
Afterinstallingbothlandinggearassembliesvieweachwheelfromabove.Adjusttheposition
ofthelandinggearinthemounttoensurethatthecenterlineofeachwheelisperpendicular
to
thewoodenwingspar(orveryslightly‘toedin’)forimprovedgroundtracking/handling.
