Whentransportingortemporarilystoringthebattery,thetemperaturerangeshould
befromapproximately40–100°F.Donotstorethebatteryormodelinahotgarage,
carordirectsunlightwheneverpossible.Ifstoredinahotgarageorcarthebattery
canbedamagedorevencatchfire.
DonotoverdischargetheLiPoflightbattery.DischargingtheLiPoflightbatterytoa
voltagethatistoolowcancausedamagetothebatteryresultinginreducedpower,
flightdurationorfailureofthebatteryentirely.
LiPocellsshouldnotbedischargedtobelow3.0Veachunder
load.Inthecaseofthe
1Cell/1S3.7VLiPobatteryusedtopowertheChronosCX75youwillnotwantto
allowthebatterytofallbelow3.0Vduringflight.
ThecontrolunitinthehelicopterdoesnotfeatureaLowVoltageCutoff(LVC).Asa
result,if
youeverfindthatmorethanthetypicalamountofthrottle/poweris
requiredtohoverand/orthehelicopterwillnotascend/climbevenatfullpoweryou
shouldlandthemodelandturnthehelicopteroffimmediatelytopreventover
discharge.

Andwhileitispossibletopowerthemodel
upandflyagainifyoulandandallowthe
batteryto‘rest’forashorttime,thisisNOTrecommended.Continueddischarging
canresultinreachingavoltagebelow3.0Vandmaycausepermanentdamagetothe
LiPobatteryresultinginlostpowerandflightdurationduringsubsequentfights(or
failureofthebatteryentirelywhichisnotcoveredunderwarranty).
IMPORTANTNOTE:DONOTLEAVETHEHELICOPTERTURNEDONUNLESSITISREADY
TOBEFLOWN.IFTHEHELICOPTERISLEFTTURNEDONWHENITISNOTINUSETHE
LIPOBATTERYWILLBEOVERDISCHARGEDBYTHESMALL
AMOUNTOFCURRENTTHE
ONBOARDELECTRONICSANDLEDCONSUME.Itcansometimestakeafewhoursor
evenuptoafewdaystooverdischargethebatterythiswaybutdoingsowilllikely
causepermanentdamagetoorfailureofthebatteryentirely(whichisnotcovered
underwarranty).
