suretokeepthehelicopterturnedOFF.Whenthetransmitteristurnedonthe‘power’
LEDindicatorshouldglowsolidredandthe‘charge’LEDindicatorshouldglowsolid
green.Thebatterywillbecharginganytimethecharge
LEDindicatorisglowingsolid
greenandONLYwhenthetransmitteristurnedonandthehelicopteristurnedoff.
Itwilltakeapproximately30‐40minutestochargeafullydischarged(notover‐
discharged)battery.AndwhenthebatteryisfullychargedthechargeLEDindicator
willstopglowingentirely.WhenthechargeLEDindicatorisnolongerglowingyoucan
disconnectthechargeleadfromthehelicopterasthe
batteryisnowfullychargedand
readyforuse.
NOTE:TheLiPobatteryincludedwithyournewmodelwillarrivepartiallycharged.For
thisreasontheinitialchargemayonlytakeapproximately15‐20minutes.
NOTE:DONOTSTORETHEBATTERYFULLYCHARGED.Forimprovedsafetyand
longevityof
thebatteryit’sbesttostoreitonlypartiallychargedforanylengthof
time.Storingthebatteryatapproximately50%charged(whichisapproximately3.85V
percell)istypicallybest,however,itwilltakesomecarefulmanagementofthecharge
timeandtheuseofavoltmetertoachieve
thisvoltage.
Ifyouhavetheequipmentandskillstoachievethe50%chargelevelforstorageitis
recommended.Ifnot,simplybesuretonotstorethebatteryfullychargedwhenever
possible.Infact,aslongasthebatterywillbestoredatapproximatelyroom
temperatureand
fornomorethanafewweeksbeforethenextuse,itmaybebestto
storethebatteryinthedischargedstateafterthelastflight(aslongasthebatterywas
notover‐dischargedonthelastflight).
