Retorting Default Settings
You can restore your MetroE mode to its factory default settings using the reset application
provided on the CD-ROM disc included with your order.
To reset the MetroE node to its factory defaults, you must run the rest application within 3 minutes
of the MetroE node booting up.
1. Install the rest application on a workstation. If running windows, install
3200factoryreset.exe; if running Linux, install 3200factoryreset.bin.
2. Connect the workstation to the Ethernet Port of the MetroE node with the node powered up.
3. Start up and run the reset application.
MetroE Factory Default Settings
• AES encryption: Disabled
• WEP encryption: Disabled
• Mesh IP address: 192.168.224.150
• Ethernet ports: All ports enabled
• HotView username: admin
• HotView password: arcwave
• Radio Power = 75% of approved maximum power
• ESSID = METRO_MESH
• Radio Mode --- 5.8 GHz
• Radio Channel - 161
After a factory reset, you will need to specify the country code.
