1. Click on the File menu and select MAC Filters. A dialog box appears.
2. To prevent access from specified devices (‘‘deny’’), select Prevent Access by MAC addresses
in List; to allow access from only specified devices (‘‘permit’’), select Allow Access only to
MAC addresses in List.
3. Type in the MAC address for the device you want to either prevent or allow access to the
wireless mesh in the MAC address fields. Click on the Add button. The specified MAC
address appears in the MAC Filter List box.
4. Repeat the above step to enter additional MAC addresses.
5. To delete a one or more MAC addresses from the list, select the MAC addresses you want to
delete and click on the Remove button; to remove all MAC addresses from the list, click on
the Remove All button.
6. Click on the Save button when you’ve finished defining MAC addresses.
Note: To switch from denying access to specified MAC addresses to allowing access to specific
MAC addresses (or vice versa), delete all the existing MAC addresses, and save your changes.
Then select the MAC Filters command again, select the other operation (for example, if you
previously allowed access, select the prevent access option), add the new MAC addresses, and
then save your changes.
