Set up computer’s network

The PC must be set up to obtain its network address from the ZyWAN for this test.

After initial configuration of the ZyWAN, the PC can be changed back to its normal network

settings.

To configure the network as mentioned above:

1 Select the Windows Start menu, Control Panel, Network Connections. Look at the

properties of the Local Area Connection:

2 Open the properties for the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). This should be set to Obtain

an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS Server address automatically as

follows:

If the PC address is already set in the range of 192.168.1.x, where x is

any number from 2 to 255, you may not need to change the

configuration. Just cancel out of the Internet Protocol Properties and skip

to the next section,
