Connecting the Devices, continued
Verify that the signal strength
between the Wireless Joey Access
Point and the Wireless Joey is
good. From the Wireless Joey
receiver, select the Network
Setup tile (press MENU and select
the Settings tile), and select the
Wireless Joey Access Point
tile to conrm connection and
view the signal strength. Green
indicates good signal strength; see
the Troubleshooting section for
additional information.
Enable bridging on each Hopper
by pressing MENU on the remote
and selecting the Settings tile,
the Network Setup tile, and the
Broadband tile. Select the Network
Details button. Select the Bridging
button. Select Enable under the
Bridging menu, and select Save.
Note: Bridging allows all devices on
the Whole-Home DVR network to
access Internet-based applications,
and in the case of multiple Hoppers,
enables the Wireless Joey receiver
to link to the Hopper not attached to
the Wireless Joey Access Point.
Each Whole-Home DVR network
should have one network
connection to the home router.
