SAFETY OPERATION
In the safe position. shown in Figure 2. the thumb safety stops the hammer from contacting
the firing pin and also blocks the firing pin. The safety does not stop the hammer from
falli~p when the trigger is pulled. Figure 1 shows the thumb safety in the off or fire
