8.. WEAR SHOOTING GLASSES AND HEARING PROTECTORS WHEN YOU SHOOT.
AD shooters should wear pratectife shooting glasses and some form of hearing protectors
when shooting or in the company of shooters. Exposure to shooting noise can damage
hearing. Adequate vision protection when shooting Is essential. Normal prescription
eyeglasses and commercial sunglasses do not pro,ide adequate protection.
9. NEVER CLIMB A TREE OR FENCE WITH A LOADED FIREARM. Put the firearm in
a secure holster before climbing a fence. Unload the firearm before crnnbing or descending
a tree or jumping o,er a ditch or other obstruction. Never puD or push a loaded firearm
toward yourself or another person. When in doubt, unload your gun I
10. DON'T SHOOT AT A HARD SURFACE, OR AT WATER. Bullets can ricochet off
many surfaces filee rocks or the surface of water and travel in unpredictable dirttctions with
damaging or lethal velocity.
11. NEVER TRANSPORT A LOADED FIREARM. Always unload firearms before placing
them in a vehicle. A suitable carrying case or holster should be used to carry a firearm to
and from the shooting areas.

whUe under the Influence of drugs. alcohol. medication. or mind altering substances)n a~y
form constitutes a criminal disregard for the safety of yourself and others.

to provide maximum mechanical security against accidental discharge.

THE MAGAZINE REMOVED. NEVER LEAVE A ROUND OF AMMUNITION IN

CHAMBER OF THE PISTOL LOOK IN THE CHAMBER TO BE SURE IT IS EMPTY.
WARNING: TAKE CARE WHEN LOADING. UNLOADING. OR fEEDING CARTRIDGES AS
.22 MAGNUM RIMFIRE CARTRIDGES ARE MADE OF THIN METAL AND ARE EASilY
DAMAGED. DO NOT USE AMMUNITION WHICH DOES NOT FEED SMOOTHLY AND
RELIABLY INTO THE CHAMBER AS IT MAY PREMATURELY DISCHARGE.
