Getting Started
2.4.3 Using Power Adapter (Optional)
If your IOT-800N comes with the optional AC-DC power adapter:
1. Connect the 3-pin terminal block of the power adapter to the DC terminal
block receptacle on the device. Then tighten the screws to secure the
terminal block in place.
2. Then connect the adapter to a power source.
Upon power supply, the device will be automatically turned on.
2.5 Conguring COM Port
The IOT-800N comes with two COM ports as shown below:
RS-232
COM2
COM3
RS-232/422/485 selectable
(default: RS-232)
To congure the mode of COM3 or the settings like baud rate of COM2 &
COM3, you have to use the SerialPort API as described below:
1. Launch the Serial Port API App by tapping the Serial Port API icon in the
Apps section.
