Series 5 Water M511 Wall Mount Module User Guide Introduction The M511 Wall Mount Water Module is a battery-operated radio module designed for automated water meter reading. The M511 is capable of reading water consumption data from residential and commercial water meters equipped with an Encoded or Solid-State Register. It has a two-way radio that is compatible with electric meters, routers, and mesh extenders for relaying water consumption data to the utility.

The primary function of the module is to record magnetic field reversals that are converted to measurement of water consumption volume, and then deliver the data to the utility for processing.
