Electrical Requirements for 120V 15AMP
• Locate your spa so that the GFCI plug and cord will reach a dedicated 120V outlet, but not closer than
5 feet (1.5 meters). A dedicated outlet is one that does not have other electrical devices operating on the same
circuit. This can be checked by turning off the circuit breaker that supplies the intended outlet and verifying that
no other electrical devices no longer work, such as a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker,
hair dryer, etc.
• Do not use an extension cord. See owners manual for directions on extending cord.
• Do not connect to the outlet until the spa is filled with water.
Note
the deluxe upgrade package consists of a Factory Installed:120/240V, 1 kw/4kw heater, 2 speed pump and
an ozone generator. The Spa ships Plug and Play ready for 120-Volt 15 Amp with a 1kW heater. The heater can be
converted from a 120-Volt 1kW to 240-Volt 4kW with the installation of a 30 or 50 Amp 240-Volt electrical service,
by a certified electrician.
Find GFCI power plug
located below the
right corner of the
equipment access door
and cut the white tie.
Pull GFCI along with power
cord and inspect the full
length of the cord for
any damage before each
use. If cord gets tangled,
remove equipment access
door (see next picture).
Remove and save
access panel screws.
Use caution when
reinstalling the screws.
Do not over-tighten.
