Introduction Thank you for purchasing the AquaCraft Atlantic II Harbor Tugboat. We want the time you spend with your new R/C boat to be fun and successful so please fully read the manual. If for any reason you think this model is not for you, return it to your place of purchase immediately. NOTE: Your hobby dealer cannot accept a return on any model after final assembly or after your boat has been operated.
Warranty Service ● If your boat should happen to stall, water currents will slowly carry it to shore. Keep in mind that the boat could be carried to the opposite shore. When surveying areas to run your boat, keep variables in mind such as wind direction and lake size. It is not advisable to run R/C boats on any free-flowing bodies of water such as creeks or rivers. AquaCraft will warranty your Atlantic II for 90 days after the purchase from defects in materials or workmanship of original manufacture.
Understanding Your Transmitter To help you better understand your transmitter and its functions, here is a picture outlying the operation features, servo reversing and receiver assignments (* not used with this product). To remove the cabin slide the “tool box” forward near the front of the cabin.
Next install the accessories. You will find them packaged in a small plastic bag attached to the light mast. Remove the bag and the accessories inside. Install the RF antenna on the port side of the light mast. Carefully slide this in place. If you want, you can place a small dab of glue (medium CA glue or plastic model cement) to help hold the part in place. Install the radar antenna the same way but on the starboard side of the mast.
The completed assembly. Install the battery into the boat as shown. Do not hook up the main power battery until you are ready to operate the boat! Remove the provided “loop” strip from the battery tray and attach it to your battery pack. 6 If needed, one has access to the rear hatch by simply sliding the latch forward and lifting off the cover.
Operation With the transmitter on, plug a fully charged battery into the ESC. You will hear the motor beep three times letting you know the motor and ESC have power. Moving the left stick forward should result in counter clockwise rotation of the propeller. Moving the stick back should result in the propeller turning clockwise. If this not correct, unplug the battery and switch revising switch 3 and test again. (Default switch position is down.
