Control Valve Function and Cycles of Operation
The AC adapter comes with a 15 foot power cord that is designed for use with the control valve. The AC adapter is for
dry location use only. If the power goes out, only the time of day needs to be reset. All other settings are permanently
stored in the non-volatile memory.
The following chart shows the time for the backwash and rapid rinse cycles for the three available programming options.

Note: Your Chem-Free Iron Reduction Filter is factory preset to program number P7, changing the setting to P8 or P9 is
rarely needed. But if a change is desired, please refer to “How to Change the Regeneration Program Settings” on page
3-10.
