A licensed electrician should make the electrical connections and connect power to the unit. Local codes should always be used when connecting these units to electrical power. In the absence of local codes, use the latest version of the National Electrical Code.

conditioning ducts are blowing air into the cold well. This air would be much warmer than the blanket of air covering the top of the product and will warm the product. Incandescent lamps must not be placed directly over the cold well or in close proximity. This could disrupt the blanket of cold air generated by the cold well and the product will be warmer. ! CAUTION: This device should never be positioned upside down or on its side.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS The product must be precooled to less than 40°F (4.4°C) before being placed in the cold well. These units are designed to maintain product temperature, but not cool down warm product. Plug Coldwell in and turn on the power switch. The unit has been calibrated at the factory for 35° F - 39° F at sea level. Wait about 45 to 60 minutes for the unit to cool. If the product is too cold or too warm, adjust the pressure switch.
