Benefits to the Contractor
• Aprilaire Dehumidifiers provide humidity
control, leaving the Air Conditioning to do
the cooling
– Air conditioning can provide some dehumidification,
but as equipment becomes more and more efficient
at sensible cooling, it removes less moisture,
limiting its dehumidification or latent capacity.
– Stop lowering the cooling set point in an attempt to
lower the humidity levels, which only results in
overcooling without adequate moisture removal,
creating a cold, clammy space.
