• Remember…
– Humidity above 50% can cause condensation on and
damage metal products.
– Humidity above 50% can cause swelling and popping
in wood.
– Microbiological growth can occur when space
humidity levels exceed 60% relative humidity.
– ASHRAE and the EPA recommend that the humidity
level stay in the 30%-60% range for occupied
spaces.
