Adding a diskette drive
You can add a diskette drive to a currently diskless system.
The upgrade kit includes the drive itself, the mounting bracket,
fixing screws, and the drive signal cable.
To fit the diskette drive:
1. Turn off the computer and unplug all power cords.
2. Take suitable anti-static precautions and remove the
system unit cover.
If you are unfamiliar with anti-static precautions or
the procedure for removing the system unit cover,
see Appendix A, “Inside the System Unit”.
3. Remove the metal blanking plate and plastic cover
from the side of the system unit to uncover the
diskette drive aperture.
