Control & Settings
The
Control & Settings
panel is primarily for the user to
1. Control the radar and other FutureWaves™ components
2. Set settings for the system and the FutureWaves™ display.
3. Collect information about how the system is behaving
Aligned along the top edge of the
Control & Settings
panel are four tabs:
General, Radar 1,
Display,
and
References.
This is shown in Figure 26.

General
The General tab is used for general control and settings, such as the ‘Start’ button that connects
the GUI to the FutureWaves™ network.
Radar 1
The Radar 1 tab is used to monitor and control the radar, as well as the PPU and RPU associated
with that radar. Note that in a multi-radar system there would be a
Radar-2
tab to monitor and
control the second radar, as well as the PPU and RPU associated with that second radar.
Display
The Display tab is used to change the display settings on the FutureWaves™ Display.
References
The References tab is used to view seas and forecast tables as a reference and collect information
about how the system is behaving.
