Displaying NAT 64 resources
You can use the show nat64 resources command at the rconsole to display information about
NAT64 resources on theServerIron ADX. This command can be used for stateful and stateless
NAT64 configurations. This output is displayed as follows.
Stateful Statistics:
TCP 6->4 = The number of IPv6 TCP packets that have been translated to
IPv4.
TCP 4->6 = The number of IPv4 TCP packets that have been translated to
IPv6.
TCP reverse no session drop = The number of TCP packets that were dropped due to no
reverse session being present.
UDP 6->4 = The number of IPv6 UDP packets that have been translated to
IPv4.
UDP 4->6 = The number of IPv4 UDP packets that have been translated to
IPv6.
UDP reverse no session drop = The number of UDP packets that were dropped due to no
reverse session being present
NAT64 NAT pool Statistics:
6->4: TCP: NAT port allocated = The total number of ports allocated from the NAT64 IPv4 pool.
6->4: TCP: NAT port not available = The total number of occurrences when no NAT64 IPv4 pool port
was available.
NAT port freed = The total number of ports allocated from NAT64 IPv4 pool that
have been freed up.
NAT64 HA Statistics:
Message sync sent = Number of sessions synced to HA peer.
Message sync received = Number of NAT64 sessions received from HA peer.
Error during sending sync messages = # of errors encountered while syncing NAT64 sessions.
Error during receiving sync messages = # of sync messages with errors (usually indicates config
mismatch).
Invalid prefix index found during message
syncing =
# of times NAT64 prefix in session received from peer not
configured on device.
Errors
IPv6 Prefix index invalid during pre-pend = # times when IPv6 prefix wasn't found wehn converting v4->v6
packets.
Static map entry null in NAT64 proc = Not used.
Get MTU on V6 outgoing port error = Not used.
Abnormal packets:
Embedded IPv4 address not unicast = IPv4 address embedded in the IPv6 prefix is a multi-cast /
broadcast address.
SIP contains IPv6 prefix = Packet received has source ip in NAT64 prefix
